This project represents a collaboration with artist Maizie Clark. We used the imagery from her original artwork and translated it into a custom nail-art decal, turning her art into something wearable. What makes this collaboration meaningful is relationship building by exposure, highlighting local art and creating and higher sales for both the salon as well as the artist. The project demonstrates how creative partnerships can expand the life of an original idea, allowing one artist’s work to reach an entirely new audience and format.
